Stevie Wonder week in American Idol!!paksyet!

The 12 finalists were truly put to the test as they sang some of this legend's hits,and it's like a baptism of fire on their 1st finals episode. For one thing, it's like Stevie Wonder composed and sang his songs in a supernatural manner that no other singer can sing them. But I have to say this is one of the best episodes of AI that I've seen.

I was "booger-green" with envy as I saw the contestants sing songs and rehearse with Stevie..Kung ako siguro nandun, hindi lang iyak ang gagawin ko (as what some of the finalists did). Sobrang astig yung moment na yun. haaay...

Anyway, I think they all did good with their renditions of his songs. Particularly loved Mandisa's, Katharine's and Taylor's. I was looking forward though for someone to sing "Ribbon in the Sky"..sana 'kano ako at kasing husay ko yung mga mokong na yun,that would be my piece. hehe :p

Yesterday was the elimination, and Melissa Mcghee got the boot..No surprise there though.

The true American Idol for me would be somebody sight-impaired, signed by Motown at an unbelievable age of ten, produced hits that would take you hours to listen to all of them, inspire and influence millions of musicians all over the world and still have an audience of hundreds in awe decades after he was discovered..nag-iisang lang yan..IDOL!!

One thing that I find difficult is organizing my thoughts and putting them down on print, or for this matter, the screen. I can really never tell what to write about in this blog, maybe if I was busy enough to tell heaps of stories..but then again if would be that,maybe i wouldn't have time to blog..ahh letse. hehe

* Jose "Sway" Penala was booted out of the American Idol semis. Due to a rather mediocre performance of the S.Wonder classic "Overjoyed", the American public deemed him not fit for the final 12..Sayang, he is actually a great vocalist but maybe he was just feeling under the weather when he sang that night..Honestly, kahit ako na-dissappoint sa performance nya. Will be rooting for Katharine Mcphee, Paris,Taylor & Elliot instead.

*ABS CBN is in deep s**t ( regarding the Ultra incident) , 'nuff said

*My sister has joined the choir I was previously involved with ( I still am,though not as a singer). Masaya naman siya :p

*I am still boycotting the news..unless it's not about the opposition's endless attempts of power overthrow

*Zayteenya is going to be my plane, as Olympus is to Zeus hehe
